To perform the ASL sign for "learn," a helpful technique is to hold your non-dominant hand out in front of you and imagine that there is "information" resting on the palm of your hand. Use the fingertips and tip of your thumb on your dominant hand to pick up the information and then lift it up towards your forehead. As you bring your hand towards your forehead, make a circular motion with your "L" hand shape to indicate that the information is being absorbed. This is the "full" version of the sign for "learn."
